Episode #7 Sponge Man attacked!!

From episode #6...
Sponge Man turned and saw Sal pointing the hair dryer at him. He didn't know what it was, but he certainly knew it wasn't going to be good for him. He looked around and tried to find a way to protect himself. Out of the corner of his eye he saw...

A middle aged woman with HUGE HAIR! If there was ever a time when Sponge needed hair, it was now. He ducked behind the woman, looking cowardly. But, when Sal turned on his super powered hair dryer it began to blow the woman's hair in all kinds of directions. Her perfectly formed "doo" was completely ruined, but at least Sponge Man was safely tucked behind her blocked by the huge pile of hair.

Sal didn't give up very easily. He kept that hair dryer running and moved to find a way to direct the powerful air flow directly on Sponge Man. Each time Sal moved, Sponge Man would turn the woman in front of him like a perfectly choreographed dance.

This went on for several minutes. The woman shrieked but Sponge Man just talked calmly to her letting her know he would be happy to pay for another trip the stylist. She wasn't very happy, but she could tell he needed her help. Slowly the hair dryer lost power and Sal screamed,

"darn you Sponge Man, you always find a way out".

Sponge Man moved away from the woman who now looked like a cat that had put his tongue in an electrical outlet! He started for Sal to teach him a lesson. Sal sprinted for the door grabbing his backpack and slithering away at his fastest pace. Sponge Man dove to catch Sal leaving a big splash from his wet body. He missed and Sal slimed his way toward the door yelling,

"I'll get you Sponge Man if it is the last thing I ever do!!!"

Sponge Man followed Sal and cleaned up his slimy mess. He retraced Sal's steps wiping any hint of his foul smell. People in the restaurant weren't sure what just happened. The young girl still wanted her sweet and sour pork, but her mother knew Sponge Man had saved her from the dreaded whirrlies. The mother said,

"thanks Sponge Man. It would have been awful for my little girl and you saved her."

Sponge Man replied,

"No worries. Just another day in the adventures of Sponge Man."

Sponge Man knew he wasn't done with Sal... it was only a bit of calm before another storm

Stay tuned...
